Thru-Riser Detectors

See through steel with our Thru-Riser Magnetic Detectors (MDET). The MDET is used to assist you when running tools inside lubricators for pressure deployed operations.

The sensor is strapped around the riser where it can detect the passing end of tools and tool joints. It is so sensitive it can detect the end of a broken coiled tubing.

The sensor assembly is intrinsically safe and suitable for use in Zone 0 and the control panel and battery pack are certified for Zone 1.
