ANTECH EXPANDS TYPE-C WELLHEAD OUTLET RANGE
17th December 2015
The Type-C Wellhead Outlet, which was designed and developed by the company for use in hazardous environments, has been on the market since 2013 and has achieved great success due to its safe and simple installation, created in compliance with API 6A, ATEX and NACE standards.
In response to the product’s success, particularly within the US and Australia land markets, AnTech has since launched three further outlets, namely: Types CB, CC and CD. Each adaptation has been designed to suit various working environments including pressure, ranging from 5,000 - 15,000psi, temperatures from -60°C to +160°C, and various voltages.
Wellhead Outlets Type CB and CC are focussed on lower cost applications where a high level of specification is required. Both units comply with API 6A and NACE as standard and are tested and manufactured to AnTech’s usual high standards.
Furthermore the Type-CD wellhead outlet has been designed accredited with the Type 1, Division 1 certification allowing it to safely operate in some of the world’s most stringent wellsite environments including the Gulf of Mexico.
AnTech sales manager, Tim Mitchell said: “AnTech continues to lead the way for innovative design, production and sound customer service. We’ve worked hard to develop adaptations of our to meet the needs of varying environments around the world, focusing on temperature, pressure and certification. We’ve listened to our clients’ requirements and from one pioneering product, we have devised a number of innovative solutions.”
Commenting on the range expansion, AnTech managing director, Toni Miszewski said: “As our wellhead outlet products require minimal connections, they are the safest and most efficient alternative to multiple connectors. The Type-C range brings substantial cost benefits to our clients, which given the current low oil prices and the need for operators to reduce expenditure, is key to the demand of these products.”
