On Thursday 8th August 2019 some of AnTech’s employees took part in the Cyclescheme’s national event, Cycle to Work Day.

BICYCLES AT THE READY FOR ANTECH'S CYCLE TO WORK DAY 2019

Cycle to Work Day is for absolutely everyone but it is especially aimed at encouraging those who wouldn’t normally cycle to work to try it out in a fun and friendly atmosphere. As an added incentive and a bit of extra motivation, the participants were encouraged to sign up, take part in weekly cycling challenges and log their ride on ‘Love to Ride’. Once signed up, they were automatically entered into a draw for a chance to win £10,000 worth of prizes.

On the day, seven of our team members from across the company eagerly cycled to the AnTech headquarters, luckily, the weather was perfect and between them they accumulated over 80 miles of road!

Each participant arrived within half an hour of each other at AnTech, unlike last year when one of the team suffered a puncture towards the end of the journey and had to complete on foot. Everyone who took part were rewarded with a fresh continental breakfast which was greatly received.

Well done to all that took part and we hope to participate next year!
