Training Schemes

To access bright, dynamic talent, AnTech has been an active participant in the Year In Industry Scheme (Y in I) for many years. In fact, the company has hired several successful candidates as a result of their experience at AnTech.
Since 2000 Antech sponsored one student every year; each one an individual interested in studying a different discipline. Over time, these students have studied Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering. One student's aim was to pursue a career in Aeronautical Engineering.
AnTech is keen to offer one-year placements to enthusiastic, hard working students who are serious about their careers. To find out more, contact AnTech or visit www.yini.org.uk.

AnTech works with Exeter University by hosting students who are participating in the STEP programme. This 8 week work experience is a project-based placement whereby the student makes a presentation of their work, along with other students in the region.

Students have also experienced work placements at AnTech while participating in the Erasmus exchange programme. The programme that enables students from other EU Countries to study for a degree whilst at the same time gain valuable experience of the industry.

Work Experience
AnTech provide the opportunity for year 10 and 11 students from local schools to experience engineering during a week-long placement. During this week, students are exposed to the inner workings of AnTech's production, design and software departments. By doing so, AnTech aims to introduce them to a broad range of roles in the workplace so they will have a realistic idea of the types of work available in the industry, in the hope that they will pursue an engineering career.
