AnTech's range of cable testing equipment is designed to carry out destructive tests of cables and weak points on Slickline and Monocable. Until recently, this has not been possible due to the lack of suitable testing equipment. By using AnTech's cable testing equipment, a quantitative measurement of cable condition can be made.

There are also important training benefits to be gained. Monocable weak points depend not only on the physical condition of the strands, but on how they are constructed. By using the portable testers, engineers and operators can obtain feedback on their work in a workshop environment, rather than in a client well.
